We began the Environmental club in the fall of 2002 in order to raise awareness of environmental issues that affect everyone. We started the recycling program at Lauralton. A paper recycling bin is in each class room and office. Also, there are twelve bottle recycling bins throughout the school.  We have celebrated both America Recycles Day and Earth Day for the past three years with book swaps, trash-free lunches and raffle prizes. We created an awesome butterfly garden. We need YOU to help us make Lauralton an active participant in protecting the environment.
